This course is 75 hours offered over a 2 week session designed to educate and train the student in the nursing assistant role in the health care field. This course provides instruction in basic nursing skills through lecture, classroom laboratory, and supervised clinical experience in a long term care facility. Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to take the Michigan State Certified Nurse Aide Exam.
